2010
Chevron Houston Marathon
PDAP has been named as on the 2009-2010 Chevron Houston
Marathon Run for a Reason Charity Partners. PDAP was one of (47)
charities selected out of (140) charities that applied for this amazing
opportunity. In 2009, the Run for a Reason program raised over one
million dollars for the charity participants.
We look forward to an
exciting fundraising experience and hope that you will join PDAP's "12-Steps for a Drug Free Future"
Campaign and help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 for our
program. With the help of our fundraisers and Chevron Houston
Marathon Hero's we have currently raised approximately $19,000 to help
support
the free drug and alcohol prevention and recovery services that we
provide to the youth and their families in the Houston community.
Donations to PDAP through the Chevron Houston Marathon will be accepted
until February 15, 2010.

2009
Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament
The Palmer Drug
Abuse Program hosted its Seventeenth Annual Corporate Challenge Golf
Tournament at Redstone Golf Club on Monday, October 5, 2009. We
had an outstanding group of players and thankfully the weather
cooperated! We are so grateful to have such a dedicated support
team who participated with us in one way or another this year.
With the
generous support of our Title Sponsor (Schlumberger) and our many other
corporate sponsors, our golf tournament raised approximately $120,000
for PDAP and will support our continuing efforts to fight youth
substance abuse in the Houston community.
