Community Outreach & Prevention We, at the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, believe that to offer young people and families effective help, agencies throughout the community must work together.  Our community partnerships allow us to combine resources and share expertise while providing prevention and education programs that lead to a decline in drug use, improve health and job performance, reduce involvement with the criminal justice system, decrease family dysfunction, and improve quality of life for us all.  PDAP provides a variety of outreach services throughout the Greater Houston Area. The services we provide include education groups in middle schools, prevention and intervention groups in high schools, and recovery education groups in treatment centers and juvenile probation facilities.  These groups are offered at no charge to the individual, and on a limited basis to agencies and institutions.
